Hi all! I'm Vixen and I'm about 8 months old. I came to Westside with my sister Tosca, but we don't need to be placed together. As the matter of fact, we probably would do better if we had separate homes because we're both girls. We never fight but I am told that might change in the future? hmm Humans must know better I guess. Anyway, I am proud to join my fellow shepherds in the "Shotgun Rider's Club". Yupp, I made my way out of my crate in the van 3 times before the volunteer driving gave up and let me ride next to her on our way to freedom. (not that she had a choice after I climbed out of the 3rd crate and was making my way to the front balancing on top of all the other crates) But she had to admit, I'm a great co-pilot. I listen to correction and do as I'm told. I got off her lap every time she told me to, maybe about 10 times. I put my head in her lap instead and let her pet me. That was nice. I also said hello to the other dogs in their crates, feeling special that I get to ride 'free'. I heard the volunteer talk on the phone about me, and what a nice dog I am and what great company I am to her on the long drive. I am now looking for a great family (hopefully with another dog, but not a must) who will enjoy taking me on drives, long walks, teach me things and who will give me some ear scratches if I put my head in their laps. You better come meet me soon, girls with my stunning dark looks get snatched up pretty quickly.
